Introcan Safety®-W

The Introcan Safety®-W peripheral IV catheter from B. Braun offers a safe and reliable solution for venous puncture. Equipped with practical fixation wings and a Luer-Lock connector, it ensures a stable and secure connection to other medical devices. Innovative Safety-Clip technology immediately secures the needle tip after withdrawal, providing exceptionally high protection against needle-stick injuries, making the application safer for both healthcare professionals and patients.

 

The robust FEP catheter ensures a long dwell time and is also free from latex, PVC and DEHP, making the cannula suitable for sensitive patients. Four x-ray contrast strips improve visibility during imaging procedures. The safety IV catherter is designed without a flush port and features a removable lock closure cone for added flexibility.
