MonoPlus®
B. Braun's MonoPlus® needle-thread combination is a long-lasting, synthetic and absorbable suture made of polydioxanone that offers excellent handling and tear resistance. It also consists of a single twist thread that ensures high knot security.
The combination causes minimal tissue trauma, which makes it ideally suited for use over a longer period of more than 4 weeks to ensure healing support. The needle-thread combination is frequently used, for example, in cardiac and vascular surgery as well as in vascular surgery for autologous peripheral vessels. MonoPlus® is particularly suitable for the adaptation of soft tissues.
