B. Braun Optilene®

The non-absorbable B. Braun Optilene® suture material is monofilament, individually sterile packaged, and made from polypropylene and polyethylene threads. The needle-thread combination offers high flexibility and break resistance, along with a soft and smooth surface. Additionally, it features excellent penetration behaviour, superior knot strength and minimal curling. Thanks to its intense blue colour, which ensures continuous visibility on the treated skin surface, the thread can be easily identified and subsequently removed.
