The BD Insyte™ Autoguard™ BC is a shielded IV Catheter with innovative blood control technology, designed to ensure a high first puncture success rate and a safe and controlled catheter placement. Thanks to its unique design, no venous compression is required during initial insertion making handling easier while enhancing safety.

The blood control technology minimises the risk of blood contact, improving staff protection and reducing cleaning costs. The integrated Instaflash™ needle technology enables immediate confirmation of vessel access, improving first puncture success rates.
