Surgicryl PGA

Surgicryl PGA is an absorbable, braided multifilament with a coating of polycaprolactone and calcium stearate. The surgical suture material provides excellent tissue support, is very strong and easy to handle. Surgicryl PGA is available as a needle-and-thread combination or as a Ligapack without needle in a range of different variants.

• Absorption by hydrolysis
• Completely absorbed after 60 - 90 days
• Approximately 50% of tensile strength remains after 21 days
• Individually sterile packed needle-and-thread combinations
• Available needle types: DS = 3/8-circle, reverse cutting, HR = 1/2-circle, round bodied
• 75cm / 90cm long (only HR 48 5.0)
